Volunteer at The Center for Culture and Language

Looking for meaningful community service hours? The Center for Culture and Language in Brookline is a community home for Israeli-American families, with Hebrew classes for kids, family programs, cultural events, and the OpenShelf community library. We'd love your help.

Ways to volunteer

Hebrew classes for kids
Help our teachers in after-school Hebrew classes: working with small groups, supporting activities, and helping kids feel at home.
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30–5:00 PM. You don't need to stay for the full time; you can choose the hours that work for you.

Weekend activities
Help with family programs at the Center, such as open playroom and story time: setting up, playing and reading with kids, and welcoming families.

OpenShelf Library
Help run and organize our community Hebrew library: shelving, cataloging, organizing the space, and helping with library events.
